How often do you make face masks?
Some ladies prefer to buy from the pharmacy, while others trust the ingredients from the kitchen, which their grandmothers and mothers used to beautify facial skin. The truth is that applying the mask is the ritual that makes us feel special even at home, because we know that we are doing something good for ourselves.
So that you don't forget about these special moments, we share with you some easy recipes for face masks. They will revitalize your skin and slow down the appearance of wrinkles.
1. Detox mask
Regardless of skin type, everyone needs detoxification. To prepare this face mask: Use fresh orange juice (You can use mashed pumpkin instead) Combine equal amounts of orange juice, honey and cottage cheese or unsalted cottage cheese.
Mix everything well and apply on cleansed dry skin for 15 minutes. Rinse it with lukewarm water and then apply moisturizer.
2. Peeling mask for all skin types
It removes dead skin cells, improves skin tone, reduces pigment spots and nourishes it.
All you need is ½ ripe banana, mashed, 1 tablespoon ground coffee, 2-3 tablespoons sour cream.
Apply the mask with light massage movements. Massage for about 30-40 seconds, then leave it on for 10-12 minutes. Coffee also has a firming effect on the skin. After rinsing, apply a suitable cream.
3. Whitening face mask
There are several ingredients that act as natural skin scrubs - lemons, tomatoes, yogurt, cucumbers. You can prepare the mask only in a combination of these three ingredients or use yogurt as a base and add a few drops of lemon, grated cucumber.
This mask is great for reducing pigment spots. It should stay on cleansed skin for 10-15 minutes, and after rinsing, the skin is nourished with a suitable cream.
4. Mask for dry facial skin
The quickest and easiest way to nourish your facial skin with kitchen products is to combine olive oil - 1 tbsp with 1 egg yolk, a little honey. Ingredients that enrich the skin with vitamins, soften it and soothe.
After rinsing, be sure to apply a suitable cream. Also, consume these foods regularly to nourish your skin and inside.
5. Mask for oily skin
Oily facial skin needs nourishment, but also ingredients that control sebum secretion and help shrink wide pores. Tomatoes, lemon juice, apple, pumpkin are great.
Combine some (mashed or finely grated) of them with 2-3 tablespoons of thick yogurt and leave the mask on for 15 minutes.
6. Mask for shrinking pores, removing pigment spots and blackheads
In a bowl, make a combination of clay, a few drops of lemon or orange juice, cucumber juice and protein. Optionally, instead of cucumber juice, you can use pre-brewed green tea to increase the amount of antioxidants.
The mask is applied again on cleansed skin for 15-20 minutes. It is done twice a week.
7. Face mask for delicate skin
This mask is good to apply in the morning. It has a pleasant aroma and revitalizes the skin to reveal its wonderful natural glow. The antioxidants in it remove impurities and work throughout the day to prevent clogging of the pores.
What you need: 3 tablespoons freshly ground coffee, 2 tablespoons cocoa powder, 2 tablespoons sour cream, 1 tablespoon honey.
Mix the ingredients and gently massage the skin of the face. Apply a thin layer on the neck. After a few minutes of massage, leave the mixture on the skin for about 20 minutes. Rinse with lukewarm water.
8. Exfoliating mask against blackheads with nutmeg
You will also need baking soda, fresh lemon juice, sugar, salt and sour cream. Mix the dry ingredients first, mix them well. Then wet. Finally, mix everything together, stirring very vigorously, to mix all the products to make a paste.
Apply on the skin with light circular and massaging movements. Concentrate on the black dots and focus on them. Then gently rinse with lukewarm water. Do this every other day for about 5 minutes. Enjoy your clean face! You can also add a little cinnamon for flavor.
9. Mask for all skin types for instant refreshment
Alpha-hydroxy acids quickly exfoliate the skin, revealing its beauty. These useful acids are contained in dairy products, fruits. Write down your next mask and reveal the beauty of your skin.
Ingredients needed: 1 tablespoon sour cream, 1 tablespoon cocoa powder, 1 egg white, 1 tablespoon honey
Mix all ingredients (Cocoa powder+ Sour cream + Egg white + Honey) well until a homogeneous mixture. Apply the mask on the face and neck and leave for 10 minutes, then rinse with lukewarm water.
10. Mask against enlarged pores
This facial soothing and pore-shrinking magic is hard to call a mask, but it has a great effect. It can be made at any time at home, and its preparation is extremely easy.
We only need ice molds in which to put boiled water and add chopped mint, parsley, lemon balm. We let it freeze and when we remember (for example in the evening), coming home from work we take a cube and rub it on our face and neck. And some of the cubes can be used for a relaxing cocktail.
In any case, these magic cubes will be useful to us. Once we get in the habit of storing them in our freezer, we will find new and new applications.
11. Mask with potatoes, olive oil and honey against dark circles
Potatoes contain some of the chemical compounds that can help relieve dark circles because they act as a natural exfoliant. Olive oil helps in tightening the skin around the eyes, and honey helps in nourishment and moisturizes the affected area.
Preparation: Peel 1 and half potato and grate it finely. Add 1 tablespoon of honey and one tablespoon of olive oil .
Mix well and apply the mixture under the lower eyelids. Leave for half an hour and wash with lukewarm water. To relieve dark circles, apply the mask at bedtime, so it will have a greater effect on the skin.
12. Winter mask with pumpkin for beautiful skin
One of the best winter facial skin care is the pumpkin mask. Pumpkin is rich in zinc, which helps the skin not to secrete excess sebum. In addition, this autumn-winter fruit provides a gentle exfoliation of the skin.
To make the mask you will need 2 tablespoons of finely grated pumpkin, 1 teaspoon of lemon juice, 1 egg yolk or egg white (if your skin is oily, use egg white) and 1 tablespoon of honey.
Mix all ingredients well. The mask is applied to cleansed skin for 15-20 minutes.
